On 28 July Street Code was amended in favor of the rescue of animals involved in road accidents.

The new provisions are:

• is allowed to use additional audible and visual alarm on the means of recovery and supervision bestiality; (article 31 amending Articles 117 and 189 of Legislative Decree 285 of 1992)


• it is also acknowledged to an individual permit to carry a wounded animal without being subject to sanctions;



• obligation for those who cause an accident to stop and provide assistance so that the animal rescue as soon as possible or face a penalty, by way of fine from 389 € to 1559:


• who is also sanctioned, if not responsible for the damage to the animal, does not provide relief with a penalty from 78 to 311 €, (all 'art.189 of the Legislative Decree No. 285 of 1992 was added in paragraph 9-bis)
