I love hazelnuts, but the creams that are around do not convince me at all (even those bio): too much sugar, fat, unidentified ... and then they are dear!
So obviously I went to do-it-me:)
I tried to do so by following the directions of Tippitappi but I had come much, because the malt you could not mix, so I made some changes, and here's my simple-and cheap-version:
-1 cup hazelnuts
-1 / 3 cup malt
Finely chop the hazelnuts until they become a paste a little 'oil (with the robot should take breaks to prevent overheating of the engine): dissolve in a small saucepan over low heat on malt in a little water to a syrup. At this point, put the pasta in a jar of nuts (avoid the plastic bisphenol, a jar is fine recycled glass), pour malt syrup, mix well ... done!
Obviously, you can also add the melted chocolate to make it more tasty:)
Store in the fridge:)
Store in the fridge:)
preferably spread on homemade bread .. good breakfast!
